Our first and most awe-inspiring experience of something that gave us an understanding of a special power was the thunder and the forest engulfed in flames—that fire which we later harnessed and tamed; we transformed it into torches and candles, and these, in turn, became part of rituals that illuminated and dignified our beliefs.
Each resounding clap of thunder reminded us of the force of nature, teaching us to respect it and live harmonizing with it. The glow of the flames not only gave us light in the darkness of night, but also hope and a sense of community as we gathered around the fire, sharing stories and dreams.
