With 8 years of life in the known and unknown world, each Asgardian is sensitive to social and cultural movements, as well as to their traditions that enrich them as inhabitants of planet Earth.

In this sense, what Yggdrasil is for the Nordics, if I relate the conclusion with the introduction and start from the symbolic name that welcomes each one of us as Asgardians. Well, this mythical tree is recognized as the tree of life. If we advance on a tour of the planet, we discover many more very significant trees. For example, in Buddhism there is Bodhi, the tree under which Siddhārtha Gautama achieved enlightenment. For the Mesopotamian peoples, the tree of life was (and is) a symbol of immortality and divine connection.

There is also the tree of knowledge of good and evil in biblical writings; the Ceiba in Mesoamerican cultures, including Mayans and Aztecs, is the one that connects the world of the living with the underworld. In Japan, Scotland, and Turkey, many trees are associated with people’s wishes, who hang objects and ribbons from their branches to make their wishes come true.

Christians adopted from ancient mythology the custom of decorating the world-renowned Christmas tree, symbolizing eternal light in the middle of winter, although it does not matter which hemisphere one inhabits, this custom has taken root. For the Celts, the oak, the ash, and the hawthorn, among others, have a sacred meaning. The oak is a symbol of strength and wisdom; the ash is a link between two worlds, and the hawthorn is related to protection and magic.

Why do I amalgamate the culture of the world from trees?

In each Asgardian, regardless of the culture they shelter and profess, their work cultivates their roots, extends their branches towards the known and unknown world, and produces nutrients of wisdom that they share with others. Every Asgardian is aware that the world needs to consolidate the image that we need of the future and is a factor of change. Influencing others is very difficult. Imagine the tide that carries with it everything that is always in its wake, and you decide to include changes that others do not expect, which ones? 

The global vision that prevents you from seeing the other as part of yourself, could be one of them, the awareness of the risks we face without having the whole vision of the space territory and its dangers; the attitude of understanding that centuries have passed, and the world continues to resolve its differences with lethal weapons as in the cave age, but now with an extreme sophistication that is collaborating with the degradation of the environment and the human mind that should not react the same after living the anguish and destruction of its habitat.

You will tell me that there are already groups, non-governmental organizations that have fought and continue to do so, and not always with the best responses from the world. True, let us support their tasks, since getting involved in their specific work is an individual task and decision. Never forget that the echo that resonates in the environment will seek channels in the least expected spaces and with different alternatives at many times in history.
