For many modern societies, the call for tolerance is a valuable argument and from there you respect the other and the other respects your concepts and beliefs, this confluence in the struggle of opposites, we could see it as the approach of tolerance and non-discrimination in the patterns of conduct of those who unite in a common ideal.
Being good observers, this occurs in many societies and has been for a long time, perhaps what one person cannot tolerate in another is not so relevant as to let it go, of course; there are many examples, do you dislike people who smoke? There are already laws so that they do not occupy public places, do you not tolerate the noise of the neighbours? There is already technology to cover your walls against outside noise.

Perhaps the most serious problems occur in human overcrowding, where you have no other option than to tolerate the so-called “Toxics”, those people who expand their personal spaces without caring if what they do is good with you, those people who talk about personal matters on their cell phone as if they were in the desert where no one could hear them… There are hundreds of examples.
In outer space, we are not going to find ourselves in the great hall of Asgard as a reality, but rather economically viable cubicles to establish small communities. In this sense, astronauts on the International Space Station are educators of others in the treatment of how to get along for more than 6 months with a group of humans from different cultures.
It is good to conclude this topic by recognizing that our capacity for adaptability is what has opened doors to evolution. As Darwin himself said, when he pointed out that the survival of the fittest is what allows individuals an advantage in their environment where the probabilities of surviving and reproducing allow them to advance to the next generation, the next level.
I think it is important to clarify that this does not mean that we have to tolerate everything that comes our way. As civilized beings, it is assumed that in healthy coexistence we learn to recognize the space of others and respect what gives respect to our own.
