Let’s now look at the dark side of capitalism and its facets today. Let’s take a hypothetical case that, however, many will be able to recognize in the elite figures of fame and fortune that have emerged throughout history; attractive to a group of fans, people who earn thousands of dollars and who can have enormous power in their daily lives just by writing a check to others, that is, their followers, each and every one of them, are at their feet… Domestic servants, women on duty or men, personalities from industry and business in the field in which they move.
What does this phenomenon imply? For them, the one who gives them a better million-dollar offer is their friend, the one who follows in their footsteps can be corrupted by their choices, recently we have seen an example that is not unique and brings to mind the current news
What follows in all this that can be extrapolated towards greater efficiency in the satisfaction of the delirious appetites of these subjects, to obtain quickly and regardless of the cost, for example, pure and uncut crack, heroin, weapons for their protection and forced control of the groups that discover them and all those who may be their enemies on either side, in short, the list can grow.
This is where the DarkWeb comes in, everything you always wanted, but your government and the legal market forbade you, could be the favorite slogan of subjects of this caliber and who use this medium. Many movies describe this type of scenarios and undoubtedly something comes from reality.
What looms in the panorama if we talk about socialist governments? I’ll be somewhat descriptive:
Socialism promotes more egalitarian societies, with a more equitable distribution of wealth among the population, actively working to reduce economic inequality. The problem arises when, in terms of cooperation, the country next to you does not follow your policies and limits the services that you cannot produce and those that you produce, you cannot sell to them.
So, the construction of a united society, where power and a committed people are intertwined, through inclusive and redistributive policies, which not only seek to close the gap between the different social strata, but also inspire the active participation of all citizens in political and economic life, encounters obstacles when there are no inputs and materials for the industry that place it in a space of equal dignity in the purchase and sale of services.
What translates into the brain drain towards places with better proposals and more resources, is a fact, many of these people have gone out into the world with their socialist genetics in mind to start an open exchange in their way of producing and being.
By putting collective well-being first, the aim is for each person to enjoy opportunities, services and rights in an equitable manner, creating an environment where everyone can grow fully and contribute to the development of education and health, as fundamental pillars in this approach, because they are considered essential rights that must be guaranteed to everyone, without distinction. If they do not have the innovative services that their world did not offer them, when they leave their countries, they manage to stand out with enough capital to make it clear that their idea is profitable and can be replicated, if possible even in their countries of origin.
Their commitment is focused on workers, much more than on entrepreneurs, but the entrepreneur seeks incentives to continue producing, socialism privileges general well-being in this type of agreement and the capitalist can act to the detriment of the well-being of an individual in order not to lose capital.
What does the loss of incentives to invest imply? The lack of a legal framework to protect investments could generate a climate of uncertainty, where risks increase and confidence decreases. As a result, the flight of capital towards safer and more favorable environments for business limits investment and the growth of new companies, or their expansion, resulting in fewer employment opportunities and reducing the purchasing power of the population. It is worth noting that fostering an environment conducive to business development in a climate of mistrust does not work.
We will not go far into what is happening in Cuba and what are the consequences of the general blackout of the island. We have seen it in the news and one of the situations that are evident reflects the breakdowns in the old thermoelectric plants that have not received adequate maintenance and the lack of fuel for the operation of some facilities.
