Analyze figures regarding the educational topic

Unfortunately, in reality, not everyone has access to educational centers; those who do, in many cases, end up owing loans for education and have to see if they are candidates for scholarships. I have already spoken of the cases where marginalization, migration and war zones do not give opportunities to many children, helpless, abandoned to their fate and malnourished. Of course, there is a world of hope and opportunities and both coexist on the same planet that allows us life.

There are still many other things that the planet would fail us on if it could grade us, but I won’t get ahead of myself, let’s analyze some figures regarding the educational issue:

According to UNESCO, in 2021, global spending on education represented approximately 4.7% of global GDP

On the other hand, what UNESCO says is important:

While schools and universities seem to take their time to make recommendations and establish standards, students and teachers do not wait. The ChatGPT application is estimated to have more than 100 million users worldwide and is, according to many, the fastest-spreading digital application of all time, surpassing the dizzying growth of social media applications, which we all know and use.

Let’s see what Sobhi Tawil, UNESCO director for the Future of Learning and Innovation, says:

“Without institutional guidance of any kind, this technology is likely to be incorporated into educational systems in an unforeseen way, with uncertain consequences and possible unintended implications. Ideally, we should seriously reflect on their place and role, and then act to make this vision a reality. We cannot limit ourselves and ignore the short- and medium-term implications of these technologies in terms of security, diversity of knowledge, equity and inclusion.”

UNESCO has advised schools and universities to become proactive in guiding and helping learners and teachers to better understand these technologies and the implications of their use.

However, all of us who use or employ new technologies need to know how far they can be useful to us and at what point they become a double-edged sword, where what the application presents to you is what the world has said and the way it has said it and what helps you do something that changes that field is your brain.
